EGR Cleaner
Valvoline EGR Cleaner is an effective cleaning spray used to dissolve deposits in the exhaust gas recirculation valve, air intake system, and inlet valves. It helps maximise engine efficiency, allowing it to run smoother and more optimally. It is highly beneficial for restoring the airflow to the engine, improving power and acceleration, as well as reducing exhaust smoke. Valvoline EGR Cleaner is designed for professional use only and is a perfect addition to any workshop.

Applications
EGR Cleaner by Valvoline can be applied to an EGR valve, air intake system, manifold, or inlet valve. It aids in maintaining manageable levels of carbon deposits, optimising system performance, and prolonging its operating life.
Benefits
Carbon deposits inevitably accumulate on an EGR valve, reducing MPG and causing excessive emissions. If not regularly cleaned, as the deposits build up on the valve, they prevent it from opening and closing smoothly. A Valvoline EGR Cleaner is used to maintain the levels of carbon build-up in the system, keeping only the manageable amount that the engine can consume. Our aerosol spray is a simple and efficient way of cleaning the EGR valve and peripheral components. It is one of our best-selling product, widely praised because it:
- Is fast-acting
- Leaves no residue
- Prevents resin deposits
- Is easy-to-use
Operating Instructions
First, disassemble the air intake hose or a turbo pressure sensor. Next, start the engine and let it run at 2000RPM.
Shake the bottle before opening and place the nozzle on top. Insert the nozzle into the air intake manifold and spray the aerosol in 5-second intervals. Repeat the process until the engine runs smoothly again.
Once you are certain that the engine is operating properly, turn it off and reconnect the air intake hose or a turbo pressure sensor. Take a 10-minute test drive.
