Application

Valvoline offers two types of heavy-duty GL-5 axle and differential oils:

The Heavy Duty Axle Oil PRO GL-5 lubricants are officially OEM approved and designed for use by true professionals to ensure high performance and protection in modern, in-warranty, axles and differentials of heavy-duty vehicles.* 

The conventional Heavy Duty Axle Oil, also GL-5 lubricants, are best recommended for use in multi-vehicle/multi-brand operations when heavy-duty axles and differentials have run out of warranty and no longer require an officially approved (and more expensive) axle oil.*

Valvoline™ products should never be stored above 60°C and exposed to hot sun or freezing conditions.
